The Minister of the Environment, Izabella Teixeira, participated on Monday (February 14) in the ceremony of installation of the Interministerial Committee for Economic and Social Inclusion of Recyclable Materials Pickers, established by the Decree 7,405 of December 23, 2010.
The Committee has the task of articulating the various areas of government to promote public policies towards the sector. Representatives from 16 ministries and nine institutions linked to the Federal Government participate in the Committee.
The MMA and the Ministry of Social Development coordinate the works.
